The offer,
exactly as Viseca states it
As of 26 October 2026, Viseca's own Flying Blue World Mastercard page confirms an "Extra Miles" welcome offer: 15,000 Flying Blue miles, up from the card's standard 5,000, for applications submitted between 5 October and 2 November 2026. The card also has to be issued by that same 2 November deadline to qualify — submitting the application on the last day cuts it close, so don't wait until the final hours if you want certainty.
Running alongside it on the same page is a separate discount: the first-year annual fee drops to CHF 115, half the standard CHF 230, for cards opened under the same promotional window. Viseca credits welcome miles within two months of approval, so even an application made right at the deadline should see miles land well before the end of the year.
- Viseca separately ran a member-get-member referral offer worth 5,000 miles to both sides, but that one ran from 24 August to 30 September 2026 and has already ended
- The 15,000-mile welcome bonus covered here is a different, currently live offer with its own 2 November cutoff — the two aren't related and aren't stackable in the way some roundups imply
This is Switzerland's only credit card that earns Flying Blue miles directly, with no transfer step and no dilution: roughly 1 mile per CHF 2 spent generally, rising to 1.5 miles per CHF 2 on Air France and KLM purchases specifically. An active Flying Blue membership is required to apply — if you don't have one already, signing up is free and takes a couple of minutes, but do it before you start the card application so there's no delay. For the full picture on fees, insurance cover, and the card's turnover bonuses, see our complete Viseca Flying Blue World Mastercard review — this piece is deliberately narrow: just the deadline, and whether it's worth acting on.
15,000 miles is three times the card's standard welcome offer. That gap alone is usually enough to make the timing worth paying attention to, even if you weren't planning to apply this month.
Who this is
actually worth it for
You don't need to be a heavy Air France/KLM flyer to get value here. This offer is worth applying for if:
- You were already planning to open a Flying Blue-earning card — the only question was timing, and the welcome bonus is currently three times its usual size
- You fly Air France or KLM with any regularity, where the 1.5 mile per CHF 2 rate and the 15,000-mile head start combine to close a redemption gap faster than almost any other Swiss card
- You want the discounted first year — CHF 115 instead of CHF 230 makes this a low-risk card to try even if you're not yet sure Flying Blue is your primary programme
- You're already a Flying Blue member sitting on a stalled balance — 15,000 miles can be the difference between "a few thousand short" and "bookable now" on a Promo Award
Who should
skip it
If your spending and redemptions are firmly built around Miles & More instead, a 15,000-mile Flying Blue bonus doesn't change that calculus — miles earned here stay in a separate programme, with no transfer path between the two. And if you're not prepared to actually use the card going forward, the standard CHF 230 annual fee returns in year two regardless of the promotional rate in year one, so this isn't a "sign up and forget" offer — it only pays off if the card earns its keep afterward too.
How to apply
before the deadline
Confirm you hold (or quickly open) a Flying Blue membership, then apply directly with Viseca. Because promotional terms can be pulled or changed without much notice, treat the figures above as accurate as of 26 October 2026 and re-check card.viseca.ch yourself before applying — especially this close to the stated 2 November cutoff.
Meilenguru's take
Worth acting on if you were on the fence
This isn't a once-in-a-lifetime offer, but a tripled welcome bonus plus a halved first-year fee, together, is a meaningfully better entry point than the card's standard terms.
- 15,000 Flying Blue miles welcome bonus through 2 Nov 2026 (standard 5,000)
- CHF 115 first-year fee (half of the standard CHF 230)
- 1 mile per CHF 2 spent, 1.5 miles per CHF 2 on Air France/KLM
Full terms and the current offer status are on Viseca's own site — confirm before applying.
If 15,000 miles alone doesn't quite close out a redemption you've already found, it's worth stacking this against the other ways to top up a balance — our guide to closing a miles gap ranks every legitimate option by cost per mile.
Let's check it against your actual flying pattern.

Book a session — CHF 79 →What exactly is Viseca's current Flying Blue welcome offer? +
15,000 Flying Blue miles, up from the standard 5,000, for applications submitted between 5 October and 2 November 2026. The card also has to be issued by 2 November 2026 to qualify. A concurrent offer halves the first-year annual fee to CHF 115, down from CHF 230.
Do I need to already be a Flying Blue member to apply? +
Yes, an active Flying Blue membership is required. Signing up for Flying Blue itself is free and takes a couple of minutes if you don't already have an account.
How long does it take for the 15,000 miles to land in my account? +
Viseca credits welcome miles within 2 months of approval, so applying right at the 2 November deadline still leaves time for the miles to post before the end of the year.
Is this the same as Viseca's referral bonus? +
No. Viseca ran a separate member-get-member referral promotion, worth 5,000 miles to both sides, between 24 August and 30 September 2026. That offer has already ended. The 15,000-mile welcome bonus covered here is a different, currently live offer with its own 2 November deadline.
